    A brief introduction of skills in Crusaders Quest:

    Hero Skill
    A skill that comes with the hero.

    Special Skill
    A skill that is learned by paying the skill trainer Hellad. There are 2 types of special skill: normal and advanced.

    What is a Transcended Skill?

    A Transcended Skill is skill which achieved one level higher than what you have trained. This is achieved by chance as you train your skill. If you train a LV1 skill, a successful transcendence will get you a LV2 skill for what you have paid for LV1.

    As you can see here, for most of the time, Hellad announces "Success!" when you train a skill and she will congratulate you for it.

    MAXIMUM Transcended Skill

    Once in a while, Hellad announces "Great!" when you train a skill and she will tell you that you have achieved a high level of the skill. This is a transcended skill. Don't worry, she will not charge you extra for it.

    A maximum transcended skill is a skill that is transcended by what it can be trained at its highest. For a special skill that is LV5, and for an advanced special skill, LV3. This is also what players usually refer to when they mentioned "transcended" or just a non-capital "t". (For example "tMR" means transcended Mana Recycle at its highest, LV5). From this point onwards, I'd refer to maximum transcended skills as just "transcended skills".

    A transcended skill is powerful because it usually gives a special effect that is not available in the lesser skill levels. You can always read about the transcended skill descriptions in Practice Mode in the game itself, but here's the list anyway should you find it handy to browse all of them at a glance:

    Red* rows denote Advanced Special Skills which can only be trained to heroes ranked 5* or higher.
    Warrior Skills
    Wind Slash Attacks quickly 3 times, dealing physical damage equal to 525% of attack power, and pulls the enemy. The hero's armor and magic resistance increases by 400 for 5 seconds. Will be activated again with 50% chance.
    Overflowing Determination For 7 seconds, the attack power of all allies increases by 170, and life steal is increased by 35%. When the skill is activated again during the effect, block skills used by heroes will be activated as chain-3 for 1 time.
    Spinning Storm Spins fiercely, dealing physical damage equal to 750% of the hero's attack power and pushes back enemies. During the spin, 50% of damage is reflected back to the enemy. The last hit stuns the enemy for 1 second. This skill cannot be canceled and during the attack the hero cannot get stunned.
    Final Judgment Deals physical damage equal to 600% of the hero's attack power to the enemy's front line. This attack reduces the target's armor by 300, and deals neutral damage equal to the hero's armor.
    Crescent Moon Rampage Deals physical damage equal to 500% of the hero's attack power by projecting energy from the sword. This attack ignores 50% of enemy's armor.
    Dancing Blade* Deals magical damage equal to 630% of attack power, and recovers 437% of attack power to party's HP.
    Heaven Slash* Performs expert swordsmanship, hitting enemies into the air and dealing physical damage equal to 875% of attack power. While using the skill, the hero becomes invulnerable to physical damage and debuffs.
    Avatar of Punishment* For 10 seconds, the hero transforms into Avatar of Punishment. Attack power increases by 400, and avatar's aura deals magic damage equal to 150% of the hero's attack power every second until the transformation ends. While transformed, the hero cannot be pushed back. If the skill is activated during the transformation, the rage of the avatar is consumed to deal neutral damage equals to 200% of hero's attack power.
    Flame of Avarice* Pulls the enemy forward and deals physical damage equal to 650% of the Hero's attack power. If the enemy gets healed the within 5 seconds of the skill activation, they take extra neutral damage equals to 2% of the hero's maximum HP. During activation, hero is immune to stun skills.
    At present Heaven Slash is commonly used due to its high raw damage output. Notable skills are Spinning Storm which pushes and corners the enemies and Avatar of Punishment which enlarges your hero and his/her skill's collision size.


    Paladin Skills
    Shout of Courage For 5 seconds, allies are healed for 20% of the hero's total HP and their armor and resistance is increased by 200 each. This buff cannot be removed.
    Consecutive Depth Bomb Sets consecutive powerful explosions, dealing magic damage equal to 525% of attack power, and launches enemies into the air. Enemies hit will have 20% magic resistance reduced and buffs removed.
    Oppression Power Deals physical damage equal to 500% of the hero's attack power with an explosion of power, and stuns the enemy for 1.5 seconds bringing the enemy closer to the hero. The skill has a 50% chance of triggering twice.
    Light of Grace Heals the ally with the lowest HP equal to 450% of the hero's attack power and reduces damage received by 70% for 5 seconds.
    Lower the Anchor! Strikes the enemy with a big anchor, dealing physical damage equal to 500% of the hero's attack power, and fixes target's evasion rate to 0% for 5 seconds.
    Thorns of Vengeance 65% of all damage is reflected back to enemies as neutral damage for 7 secs. If damage if reflected 5 times an explosion occurs dealing additional physical damage equal to 3% of the enemy's maximum HP.
    Revolution Hammer Summons a hammer around the body that deals magic damage equal to 50% of attack power to enemies. Attack enemies are stunned for 1 sec with 25% chance. When stunned, increase leader's SP by 10.
    Holy Hammer* Strikes with hammer of light, dealing magic damage equal to 400% of attack power, and stuns the enemy for 3 secons. Also heals party equal to 200% of attack power.
    Shield of Invincibility* For 4 seconds, all allies become invincible, including negative effects.
    Avatar of Protection* For 10 seconds, transforms into Avatar of Protection. Armor and magic resistance increases by 200% while receiving damage in place of allies. When activated again during the effect, deals neutral damage equal to 100% of magic resistance and stuns the enemy for 1.5 seconds.
    Paladins are mostly used for their ability to tank and incapacitating the enemies. Stunning skills such as Revolution Hammer, Holy Hammer and to a lesser extent Oppression Power are commonly used to stop enemies from hurting your team and to buy time for your team to heal or deal damage. Consecutive Depth Bomb has a niche feature which launches enemies into the air, while Shield of Invincibility is used to protect the team from everything (damage and debuff) for some time.


    Archer Skills
    Fire Rain Shoots a fire arrow to the rearmost enemy, dealing physical damage equal to 30% of attack power for 5 seconds, and reduces SP of damaged enemy by 5. The critical chance of the next skill increases by 50% for 1 time.
    Apply Poison Block attack will be enhanced for 7 seconds, dealing #magic damage# equal to 170% of the hero's attack power. Enemies hit by this arrow twice will receive #neutral damage# equal to 1.5% of his/her maximum HP. During the attack, this skill immediately fires 2 poisoned arrows.
    Float like a Butterfly Sting like a Bee! For 7 seconds, all allied attack power and attack speed increase by 115 and 40% respectively. When activated again during the effect, the critical chance of next skill increases by 50% for 2 times.
    Blade Storm Throws multiple daggers that deal physical damage equal to 450% of attack power and lowers the armor of each enemy hit by 70 for 5 seconds. Enemies struck twice will be stunned for 2 seconds.
    Threat at the Back Throws a boomerang that deals physical damage equal to 200% of the hero's attack power whenever it hits the enemy. There is a 30% increase in critical chance for the returning when it comes back, it will create 1 block.
    Blitz* Shoots consecutive arrows to the enemy, dealing physical damage equal to 500% of attack power. When arrows fired hit the ground, it will explode dealing neutral damage equal to 50% of attack power to nearby enemies.
    Voice of the Spirit* Shoots a ghost arrow that pierces the enemy, dealing magic damage equal to 600% of attack power. Enemy's resistance is lowered for the next 5 seconds.
    Phoenix Feather* Unleashes the power of the phoenix, dealing magic damage equal to 325% of the hero's attack power, and lights the ground on fire dealing continuous magic damage equal to 30% of the hero's attack power. Enemies hit by the fire will have their armor and resistance reduced by 35 for 5 seconds each time they are struck and will suffer a debuff.
    Hunter Skills
    Western Gunner Shoots rapidly in a stylish manner, dealing magic damage equal to 600% of attack power. For 2 times, block skills used afterwards will be activated as chain-3.
    NB-8 Grenade Throws 7 grenade that deal physical damage equal to 100% of attack power. Damaged enemies' attack are reduced by 25% by 70% chance for 5 secs and removes all buffs.
    Swift Attack For 7 seconds, attack speed and critical chance of all allies increase by 55% and 30% respectively. When activated again during the effect, the critical damage of the next skill increases by 50% for 1 time.
    ILSU-425 Bombing Requests napalm bombardment on the frontline. The bombardment deals magical damage equal to 170% of the hero's attack power 5 times and has a 75% chance of stunning enemies, affected by the explosion, for 2 seconds.
    Overdrive! Fires consecutive shots, dealing physical damage equal to 600% of attack power. When activated, the hero's SP is reduced by 75 but attack power is increased by 75%. Each shot has 30% chance to incur 2nd explosion.
    Bullet Improvement! Shoots two silver bullets that deal magic damage equal to 250% of the hero's attack power. The silver bullet has a 30% chance to explode, dealing area damage. A block will be created.
    NS-17 Smoke Bomb Throws a smoke bomb. Enemies caught in the smoke will have their accuracy reduced by 35%. Also, when an ally attacks an enemy in the smoke, the ally gains a 35% chance to do additional physical damage equal to 3% of the enemy's maximum HP.
    CURV-603 Carpet Bomb* Requests Carpet Bombing, dropping bombs that deal physical damage equal to 100/130/175% of attack power. Enemy hit by the bomb will have reduced armor by 30% for 5 seconds.
    Lapis & Lazuli* Shoots wildly using the double-barreled pistol Lapis & Lazuli, dealing physical equal to 1200% of attack power. When activated after chain-3 is used, the attack ignores 1000 of enemy's armor.
    BLBT-009 Support Turret* Installs a Support Turret that lasts 10 seconds. When an ally activates a chain-3 skill, the turret's next attack will fire two times. (Attack Power: 400, HP: 5500)
    Wizard Skills
    Mana Recycle Instantly creates two blocks, and next two skills will be activated with 70% increased attack power, and stun the enemy hit for 1 second.
    Electric Sphere Summons an electric sphere that moves to the frontline, dealing magic damage equal to 80% of the hero's attack power with every hit. Enemies hit by the sphere will be knocked backwards. Any enemy hit 4 times will be stunned for 1 second.
    Mana Shield For 10 seconds, a shield is created over the entire party that absorbs 3500 damage. When used, the party's att.speed is increased by 35% for 5 seconds and grants immunity to debuffs for 3 sec.
    Call of Darkness Creates a force field that pulls in nearby enemies and deals magic damage equal to 400% of the hero's attack power. Damaged enemies will have their resistance reduced by 50 for 5 sec.
    Flame Spirit Summons a Flame Spirit that attacks for 10 seconds. Flame Spirit deals 200% of magic damage every second. A repeat summon will activate Strong Breath to deal 400% of the hero's attack power as magic damage. (Maximum 1 spirit per hero. Stats will be same as the hero.)
    Mysterious Fog Summons a fog that deals magic damage equal to 80% of the hero's attack power every time it reaches an enemy. Every time the enemy in the fog attempts to attack, lightning deals magic damage equal to 150% of hero's attack power to that enemy. There is a 30% chance the lightning will be enhanced to deal damage equal to 300% of hero's attack power
    Consecutive Magic Beam* Fires 5 consecutive magic beams that deal magic damage equal to 100% of attack power. For 1 time, the block skill of damaged enemy will always activate as chain-1.
    Magic Storm* Summons 2 powerful magic storms. Each storm deals magic damage equal to 90% of the hero's attack power every 0.2 seconds, and launches the enemy into the air. Additional neutral damage is dealt equal to the hero's magic resistance.
    Thunderbolt* Calls 5 thunderbolts that deal magic damage equal to (50-150)% of the hero's attack power and stuns for 0.7 seconds.
    Shadow Mage* For 15 seconds, a shadow is called that imitates the summoner's magic. The shadow will be granted with 125% of all the summoner's stats.
    Priest Skills
    Protection of Goddess For 7 seconds, all damage received by allies is reduced by 50% and reflects 30% of damages. Additionally becomes immune to all debuffs for 5 sec.
    Sanctuary of Goddess Summons a sanctuary that continually heals the party's HP for an amount equal to 60% of the hero's attack power for 5 sec. Heroes that are healed recover an additional 2% of their maximum HP and 3 SP.
    Fierce Totem Summons a totem that deals #magic damage# equal to 100% of hero's attack power to nearby enemies every second for 4 seconds. During activation, ally's block skill will be activated as a chain-3 skill. (Once every 3 seconds)
    Time for Blood Donation! Deals neutral damage equal to 250% of hero's attack power to one enemy and recovers ally's HP by twice the amount. Attack power of ally affected by skill is increased by 50% for 5 seconds.
    Wrath of Goddess Drops 7 meteors that deal magic damage equal to 90% of attack power. Each meteor will stun the enemy for 1 second and remove buffs with 50% chance.
    Smile of Goddess* Heals all allies for 450% of the hero's attack power, and damage is reduced by 50% for 5 seconds. This buff cannot be removed.
    Energy of Goddess* Immediately creates 2 of the leader's block, and the party recovers 15 SP.
    Resurrection* For allies that can be resurrected, up to two allies are resurrected. If there are no allies to be resurrected, 30% HP of one ally is recovered. All debuffs are removed.
    Incarnation of Benevolence* Transforms into the Incarnation of Benevolence for 10 seconds and heals the ally with the least HP for 150% of the damage every time the Hero attacks. This hero is immune to debuffs while transformed.
